Hey y’all!
I’m back from vacation and while the second half didn’t go as planned (think: don’t drink the water) it was overall a relaxing and fun time.
And now that we have a few episodes of the Frugal Friends Podcast under our belt I wanted to give you a more formal introduction to it!
Frugal Friends Podcast
Our goal with this podcast is to give you insight and tips to saving money and living simply. We’re not about finding the best deals, we’re more about learning contentment, finding the purpose for our frugality, and spending wisely.
Each week we dive into a unique topic regarding what we spend our money on. We go through articles on the internet and break down what’s good and what’s filler then we talk about our experiences with the topic.
Then we wrap it up with The Bill of The Week, a segment where you call in and tell us about your favorite bill. Is it a phone bill you got lowered? A dollar bill you found on the street? A guy named Bill who helped you move? Let us know!
If you’re trying to pay off debt, reach a savings goal, or just finish the month under budget for once, then you’re gonna want to subscribe to Frugal Friends on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
We currently have four episodes available for bingeing and a new one every Friday!
- Frugality 101
- How to Save on Clothing
- How to Save on Healthy Food
- How to Save on Housing
- Next up: How to Save on Your Bills!
Along with the podcast our goal is to build a community of “Frugal Friends” across the country that can locally help and support each other in reaching financial goals. We have a Facebook group where people can connect and chat about all things frugal.
So if you need some more Frugal Friends in your life head over and check out the group!
And if there are any topics you want to see covered let me know in the comments and we’ll see what we can do!
Catch you on the radio!
